Y2K Spitfire returning to Comox for once in a life time event

The iconic Mark IX Spitfire aircraft Y2K, whose reconstruction was started in Comox, BC in 2000, is returning to the Valley in August 2018 for a celebration event.

Following an historic journey across Canada, a gala banquet, in honor of Wing Commander (ret’d) Stocky Edwards will be held on 08 Aug at 14 Hangar, 19 Wing.  Tickets to this event are now available, but extremely limited.

Go to y2kspitfire.tickit.ca to purchase your tickets today.

Revenues from this event go to The Stocky Edwards Legacy Trust, a fund designed to support young Canadians in pursuit of a career in aviation.

The Spitfire will remain in the area for several weeks, conducting several flying displays as well as being available for static viewing.
